Outreach

Jesus reached out to us with his message of God’s forgiveness and friendship. We therefore reach out to others with that same message. It’s that simple! Here at WAC we have a local and global perspective of how to accomplish that.  Click on the phrase missions partnerships to see what we’re doing globally.

Locally speaking we encourage and equip the WAC family to take God’s message to those people in their spheres of influence. We do this by providing:

• Periodic outreach trainings – Those who attend are taught how to effectively reach out to those in their sphere of influence (i.e. friends, neighbors, coworkers, and peers) in a non-threatening manner that fits their individual personality.
• Outreach opportunities – Throughout the year we offer opportunities for WAC family to invite people to such things as:
  • Family Fun nights
  • Fall Festival
  • Kids Sport camps
  • Group motorcycles rides
  • Ladies nights out
  • Youth outings

Globally speaking we want to be part of making Jesus known throughout the nations. We do this through:

• Annual Missions Conference – This yearly event reminds us of why we’re here. Through this weekend event, Jesus uses missionaries to speak to us and keep us focused on investing our time, talents, and treasures in making him known.
• Missions Trips – Short-term mission’s opportunities to serve on foreign mission fields are encouraged and provided. Those who go often come home with a deeper understanding of what Jesus meant when he said, “For God so loved the world …”
