Fellowship
God’s desire for his children is that they not only connect with him, but each other. No one is called to be a “spiritual hermit.” To the contrary, as followers of Jesus, God gives us a desire and drive to connect with other believers in deep, relational ways. The following are some places where this can take place:
- Cup of Coffee – Sunday mornings between 9:20 – 9:50 enjoy a cup of coffee and a conversation. It such an easy way to get to know others at WAC. Come a little early, grab a cup of coffee (tea or cocoa) and deepen your relationship with others.
- Linger Longer – Several times throughout the year we make it a point to stick around after the morning service and enjoy some extended time with each other. The time spent enjoying some finger foods, coffee, and conversation is a great way to meet and get to know people.
- LIFEgroups – Meeting in homes with a smaller group of people equals deeper friendships and fellowship. If this is something you desire and value, come and check one out.
- Women’s Ministry – The ladies at WAC like to get together and have fun. From group shopping excursions to luncheons and dinners and many other things, connecting in fellowship with other ladies is inevitable.
- Men’s Outings – While a trip to the outlets might not get us out, a good round of golf or a scenic group motorcycle ride with others from WAC will (and yes we do have female bikers, too). Planned events like these and others throughout the year bring the guys together.
- Our annual church picnic, holiday brunches, and more…
